- Joseph Lee, a Duke senior, prepared a report based on his Research
Service-Learning project with MANNA FoodBank in Asheville, NC.

- A chapter on "Students as Engaged Citizens" by Betsy
Alden, Coordinator for Service-Learning and RSL faculty member,
and Julie Norman, RSL Project Assistant. Will appear in Student

J. Williams, Eds. (Campus Compact, 2004).
- Colleges with a Conscience: An Engaged Student's Guide,
to be published by Princeton Review and Random House.
- A guide to civic engagement programming to be published by the
American Democracy Project of the American Association of State
Colleges and Universities (AASCU) in collaboration with The
New York Times will feature a contribution by Co-PI Alma Blount.
The monograph, which builds on a June 2004 Wingspread Conference
on Creating Civically-Engaged Campuses, will be distributed
to the 183 member institutions of AASCU.
