Why get involved in Research Service-Learning?
There are a number of reasons for undergraduates to get involved
in Research Service-Learning.
- RSL is a terrific opportunity to work closely with a faculty
member. We know that this kind of relationship with a faculty
member can be a tremendous learning experience and can increase
your feelings of involvement in the university.
- This is a chance to become involved in community issues or policy
questions at the local, national, or international level.
- RSL is an opportunity to combine your academic interests with
your commitment to community service.
- RSL projects will build your scholarship and research skills.
- Many of these courses and research opportunities fulfill important
Curriculum 2000 requirements, such as Research and Ethical Inquiry.
